DSNOC to Host Annual Gathering at Purbachal
On February 1, Dhaka South Network Owners Community (DSNOC) will hold its annual gathering at Sea Shell Park and Resort in Purbachal, just outside the capital. The day-long event will feature sports competitions, cultural performances, and a 14-stall exhibition showcasing and selling internet service equipment such as switches, ONUs, OLTs, SFPs, and slicers. Organizers believe the event will combine leisure with professional networking in a vibrant winter setting.
The gathering is expected to attract over 1,000 internet service providers, including 107 DSNOC members and their families. DSNOC President Mir Mosharraf Hossain shared his expectations, stating, “This will not only be a platform for camaraderie among Dhaka’s internet service providers but also a space for industry networking and knowledge sharing.”
Prominent guests at the event will include Aminul Haque, President of IIG; Saiful Islam Siddique, Vice President of IIG; Emdadul Haque, President of ISPAB; and Nazmul Karim Bhuiyan, General Secretary of ISPAB.
DSNOC General Secretary SD Shaheen shared details of the event, noting that there will be sports competitions across three categories: men, women, and children. Winners will be awarded prizes, and distinguished guests will also be honored. Additionally, members will have the chance to participate in a raffle draw with guaranteed prizes. “The first prize for the raffle draw will be a motorbike, while the second prize will be a laptop,” he added.
The event aims to foster camaraderie and provide an opportunity for professional exchange within the internet service provider community.
