Xiaomi Unveils Five Personal Care Devices In Bangladesh

Expanding its smart ecosystem portfolio beyond mobile communications, global technology leader Xiaomi has officially launched five personal care and grooming devices in the Bangladesh market. The newly unveiled range comprises the Xiaomi Handheld Garment Steamer, Xiaomi Electric Shaver S101, Xiaomi Electric Shaver S200, Xiaomi Compact Hair Dryer H101, and Xiaomi Smart Scale S200, designed to enhance daily fabric care, grooming regimens, hair styling, and wellness monitoring through compact engineering.

The commercial rollout was announced via an official press release issued in Dhaka on Tuesday, 27 October 2026.

Anchoring the lifestyle collection, the Xiaomi Handheld Garment Steamer integrates a 1,300W rapid heating element capable of generating steam in under 26 seconds, supplying adequate thermal capacity to steam up to six shirts on a single cycle. Its high-temperature pressurized steam eliminates up to 99.9 percent of fabric-borne bacteria and allergens. Outfitted with a 160ml detachable water reservoir and an articulated folding hinge, the device supports vertical hanging steam application as well as horizontal flat pressing.

In the personal grooming category, the brand introduced two high-precision shavers. The Xiaomi Electric Shaver S101 utilizes an 18-blade dual-track cutting system paired with three sets of floating curved foils. Featuring an IPX7 waterproof chassis and USB Type-C charging, its lithium-ion cell achieves full charge in 90 minutes, sustaining up to two months of routine use at one-minute daily operations. Complementing this, the portable Xiaomi Electric Shaver S200 introduces smart touch-activation sensors that trigger motor drive upon skin contact. Featuring a detachable magnetic blade assembly, IPX7 washability for wet and dry operation, and a 60-minute runtime, the S200 is optimized for corporate travel.

For hair styling, the Xiaomi Compact Hair Dryer H101 incorporates a high-torque 20,000 RPM motor propelling airflow velocities up to 15 meters per second. It provides dual heat and cooling velocity profiles, paired with a negative-ion conditioning emitter to reduce static frizz and dual-circuit thermal overload protection.

Targeting preventive health management, the Xiaomi Smart Scale S200 delivers real-time body mass analysis, calculating precise weight and Body Mass Index (BMI) alongside age-and-height-tailored ideal weight recommendations. Synchronizing with the Xiaomi Home mobile platform, the scale supports data profiling for up to 36 distinct user accounts.

In the retail market, the Xiaomi Handheld Garment Steamer is priced at Tk 4,199, while the Electric Shaver S101 and S200 are priced at Tk 3,799 and Tk 4,599, respectively.
