Tech Minister Meets Injured July-Fighters in Thailand, Extends Aid in Thailand Care Visit
Faqir Mahbub Anam, Minister to the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology and the Ministry of Science and Technology, met with those injured in the July uprising who are currently undergoing treatment in Thailand. He also provided 100,000 Thai Baht from his personal fund for the injured fighters.
On Friday, 24 April, in the afternoon, the minister visited the injured July fighters receiving treatment at Vejthani International Hospital and inquired about the physical condition of those who had suffered limb loss.
During the visit, Mahbub Anam wished them a speedy recovery. In the evening, Public Relations Officer of the ministry Muhammad Jasim Uddin said that the minister also spoke with the concerned doctors to learn about the ongoing treatment procedures while checking on the condition of the injured of the twenty-four July Uprising.
He further conveyed assurances, on behalf of the Honorable Prime Minister, of providing all necessary assistance to the injured and the hospital authorities.
