The sixth edition of the Digital Device and Innovation Expo concluded at 8:00 pm on Saturday, January 31, after three days of vibrant activities featuring seminars, symposiums, and exhibitions of PCs, mobile phones, electric vehicles (EVs), and a wide range of digital devices, alongside sales offers, discounts, and giveaways.

According to the organisers, around 50,000 people registered online to attend the expo, while the total number of visitors exceeded 50,000 over the three-day period.

Lottery winners were selected digitally from among attendees using a scanner counter system. However, organisers faced internet-related disruptions while verifying the database during the lottery process. The final prize winner also encountered similar difficulties.

Mahidul Islam initially won an e-bike through a laptop-based spinning lottery. However, when contacted by phone, he informed organisers that he had not attended the expo. As a result, the lottery was conducted again, and the e-bike was eventually won by Asad Ahnaf Swachcha, a student of American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB).

Among other winners, Mahadi Islam won the Tecno Pova Slim, promoted as the thinnest model in the series. Mizanur Rahman won a Corsair DDR 4GB RAM, while Md Jaman received a Corsair DDR 16GB RAM. Kawsar Mahmud and Abdullah Al Mamun won Gigabyte 5050 graphics cards, and motherboard prizes were also distributed.

During the prize announcement ceremony, former Director of the Bangladesh Computer Samity (BCS) Mujahid Al Beruni Sujon and current Director General of the Bangladesh Computer Samity, Muhammad Monirul Islam, were present.

The expo was jointly organised by the Bangladesh Computer Samity, the ICT Division, and the Hi-Tech Park Authority.
