PriyoShop Powers Expansion with Seven New Distribution Hubs
Bangladeshi B2B marketplace and smart distribution platform PriyoShop has inaugurated seven new distribution hubs within a single month across Narayanganj and Netrokona districts, the company announced in a press release on Monday, January 19.
Among the newly launched hubs, the Sonargaon hub in Narayanganj has been designated as a flagship facility, while six additional hubs have been opened in Netrokona Sadar, Mohanganj, Tarakanda, Kalmakanda, Madan, and Purbadhala.
According to the press statement, retailers across 32 delivery routes in Narayanganj can now easily access daily essential goods from more than 288 leading brands. Meanwhile, the Netrokona hubs will serve products across 57 delivery routes throughout the district. Through these hubs, small retailers are now able to manage their entire business operations directly from their mobile phones.
Commenting on the expansion, Ashikul Alam Khan, Founder and CEO of PriyoShop, said,
“These hubs have been developed through our partnership with Grameenphone. Many retailers in Sonargaon will benefit from this initiative. In addition, the six new hubs in Netrokona will allow us to reach nearly 200,000 retailers more efficiently. Our goal is to serve one million grocery retailers and to grow profitably within the country’s highly challenging retail ecosystem.”
