Online Housing Fair Opens with 38 Real Estate Firms
The ‘Online Housing Fair’ has commenced with the participation of 38 real estate companies from across the country. Among the notable firms joining the fair are Amin Mohammad Foundation, Rangs Properties, Edison Real Estate, Tropical Homes, Onward Developers, Anwar Landmark, Asian Duplex Town, Angan Properties, JBS Holdings, North South Group, Credence Housing, Swapnonibash Assets, Bhaiya Group, Chhuti Resort, Concord Group, Nest Developments, Doel Development Properties, Team Developers, Eminence Technologies, Unimas Holdings, Haque Home and Builders, and Pinaki Holdings.
Alongside housing developers, banks and financial institutions providing home loans have also joined the fair, which is being held under the slogan: “The opportunity has returned again, to search for your dream home from your own home.” Now in its eighth edition, the ongoing fair is showcasing 256 projects, offering 283,000 kathas of plots, 5,230 flats, and 412,000 square feet of commercial space for sale.
The event was officially inaugurated on Monday, August 25, at the Sonargaon Hotel in Dhaka. The welcome address was delivered by Matiur Rahman, Editor of the organizing institution, Prothom Alo.
This year’s main sponsor of the fair is DBL Ceramics. The strategic partner is the Real Estate and Housing Association of Bangladesh (REHAB), while furniture brand Hatil has joined as a special associate. Eastern Bank is participating as the banking partner, IPDC Finance as the financial partner, and Sea Pearl Beach Resort and Spa as a co-partner.
At the inaugural ceremony, REHAB President Md Wahiduzzaman, DBL Group’s Deputy Managing Director (DMD) and Group CEO M A Quader, IPDC Finance’s Managing Director (MD) Rizwan Daud Shams, Eastern Bank’s Executive Vice President Mohammad Salekin Ibrahim, Hatil’s Deputy General Manager (Sales and Marketing) Md Khorshed Alam, Angan Developments’ Executive Vice President Sadat Hossain Selim, Chhuti Resort Chairman Mostafa Mahmud Arifi, Haque Home and Builders’ MD Emdadul Haque Sabuj, Onward Developers’ Adviser Md Ejaz Morshed Chowdhury, and Swapnonibash Group’s MD Mohammad Solaiman, among others, spoke at the event.
