UITS and University of San Carlos Sign Strategic MoU to Boost Academic Collaboration
To strengthen international academic cooperation, the University of Information Technology and Sciences (UITS) in Bangladesh has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the University of San Carlos (USC) in the Philippines. The announcement was made by UITS on June 23, confirming that the virtual signing ceremony took place on June 19 under the arrangement of its Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC).
From the University of San Carlos, key attendees included University President Father Francisco Antonio, Vice President for Academic Affairs Father Jesuraj Anthoniyapen, Assistant Director of the Office of External Relations and Internationalization Kenneth Opona, and Professor Dr. Angie M. Seniza Canillo, Chair of the Department of Computer, Information Sciences, and Mathematics.
Representing UITS were Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Abu Hasan Bhuiyan, Treasurer Professor Dr. Siraj Uddin Ahmed, Registrar Mohammad Kamrul Hasan, and IQAC Director Engineer Md. Safayet Hossain.
This agreement marks a new chapter of cooperation between the two institutions, aiming to promote joint research, academic exchange, and quality enhancement in higher education.
