Following the conclusion of this year’s official Hajj activities, pilgrims have started returning to their respective countries. Meanwhile, the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has officially reopened Umrah services for the upcoming season. As a result, pilgrims can now book Umrah permits using the Nusuk app, with all previously imposed security and entry restrictions related to Hajj now lifted.

Confirming the development, trusted Makkah-Madinah-based source Inside the Haramain reported, “Umrah has resumed, and permits can be booked through the Nusuk app. All Hajj-related entry restrictions have now been lifted.” This means that anyone with a permit can now freely enter Makkah and Madinah to perform acts of worship.

The announcement of Umrah resumption through the Nusuk app has reopened the gateway for global Muslims to return to the sacred lands for worship. Many Muslims believe that the spiritual momentum of Hajj can now be sustained and expanded through Umrah, offering renewed opportunities for self-purification. For those who were eagerly awaiting the chance to perform Umrah after Hajj, this is considered highly welcome news. With the continued reliance on digital solutions, the process is expected to become more streamlined, time-efficient, and secure.

It is worth noting that the Nusuk App, the official digital platform of the Saudi government, allows pilgrims to book Umrah permits according to scheduled timings. Pilgrims can also select specific time slots for visiting Masjid al-Haram and Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifah. The platform is open to both local and international worshippers.
