Akij Telecom Launches Four AIoT Brands in Bangladesh under Royalty Deal with China’s OneLen

Akij Telecom Ltd. has entered the artificial‑intelligence‑of‑things arena, unveiling more than 150 smart devices from four global AIoT labels—Philips, Transformer, Monster and AirMars—now officially introduced to the Bangladeshi market.

The multi‑brand launch, held Wednesday evening at Banani Club in Dhaka, follows a royalty agreement signed with Shenzhen‑based multinational OneLen Technology Co. Ltd. that grants Akij exclusive rights to market and distribute the portfolios locally.

Showcased products included TWS earbuds, neck‑bands, data cables and a range of connected accessories, each integrating artificial‑intelligence features with Internet‑of‑Things connectivity.

“Our entry into AIoT underscores the Group’s commitment to bring cutting‑edge technology to Bangladeshi consumers and to broaden the mobile and gadget ecosystem,” Akij Resources managing director and CEO Sheikh Jasim Uddin told attendees.

Akij Telecom CEO G.M. Kamrul Hasan said the partnership would “accelerate digital adoption and position Bangladesh as a growth hub for smart‑device innovation.” OneLen’s country director Mohammad Taufiqul Islam and global manager Paul joined the ceremony, the latter via video link, to outline future joint initiatives in product localisation and after‑sales support.

The move marks Akij Group’s latest diversification into high‑tech sectors and is expected to intensify competition in Bangladesh’s fast‑growing smart‑accessories segment.
