R-Ventures 3.0 accepting start-up proposal submissions

The third edition of Robi's flagship digital entrepreneurship platform R-Ventures has opened for start-up proposal submissions. Participants can submit their proposals till December 31.  Participants can register their early stage and advanced startups using this link – https://www.robi.com.bd/en/personal/r-ventures within the stipulated time. Robi has recently announced an investment of up to 2.5 crore taka in selected startups in R-Ventures 3.0. Along with Robi, a panel of sector experts will invest in the startups separately. Startups selected for investment will be a part of R-Ventures' rich portfolio; which already includes successful ventures like Shuttle, Airbringer, Medeg, Sigmind. Startups will also get valuable management advice, mentorship and opportunities to work with potential investors. After submitting the proposal, the startups will go through screening and proper evaluation. Around 50 startups will be shortlisted at the end of the first phase. Several investor pitching workshops will be organized for selected startups. Where they will pitch their proposals before an expert jury panel comprising Robi's top executives and other investors. Around 15 to 20 startups will be shortlisted for the last live broadcast of Investor Day, where investors will announce their investment decisions. R-Ventures is a Bangladesh Securities Exchange Commission (BSEC) approved alternative investment fund platform sponsored by Robi's ICT subsidiary Reddit Digital, structured as R-Ventures Private Equity Fund. The platform's general partner is SBK Tech Ventures, which is managing the fund.
