The newly formed committee has been instructed to draft a full constitution within the next 90 days and establish a permanent organizational structure. Until the constitution is finalized, provisions have been kept to allow the inclusion of new members with the consent of the majority of the committee.

Speaking to Digibanglatechnews.com, former BASIS Chairman and BUET graduate Engineer Rafel Kabir said, “We are forming a professional forum of business leaders and entrepreneurs who not only believe in nationalism but also aim to help guide the government in the right direction to move the country forward. We are currently working on drafting a comprehensive constitution, where the process of including new members will be clearly outlined. It will soon be published on the website. We intend to play a role in policy formulation for this sector and, if necessary, take to the field to protect the rights of stakeholders.”

Sources indicate that the forum will prioritize organizing seminars and meetings on contemporary technological challenges and solutions, uniting ICT experts and professionals to build technology-based public opinion, promoting a secure cyberspace, and ensuring citizens’ online safety. Additionally, it aims to provide policy recommendations in science, information technology, and telecommunications to help shape the future development of Bangladesh.
