National University Honours Admission Begins: First Merit List Students to Download Forms from June 28
The National University (NU) is set to begin the admission process for the first year of undergraduate (honours) programs under the 2024–25 academic session from Saturday, June 28. On this day, students who have secured a place in the first merit list will be able to download their admission forms.
According to an official notification, applicants can access the form by visiting the admission website at www.nu.ac.bd/admissions. To download the form, students must go to the “Honours Login” link under the “Applicant Login” option, enter the correct application ID and PIN, fill out the final admission form, and take a printout. This option will remain open until July 15.
Students included in the preliminary merit list must pay a registration fee of BDT 565 through the designated mobile banking services of their respective colleges between June 29 and July 16, and submit the payment along with the final admission form.
The notification added that NU held an admission test on May 31 for the first time in over a decade. A total of 560,595 candidates took part in the exam, of which 460,706 passed.
Among the successful candidates, 33.28 percent scored above 50 percent, while the remaining 66.72 percent scored below.
Out of the passed students, 265,364 have been selected in the first merit list and can begin downloading their admission forms starting June 28.
The National University has instructed these students to contact their respective colleges to complete the admission process.
