Nagad Offers 10 Percent Discount on NOVOAIR Tickets

Postal Department’s digital financial service Nagad has partnered with private airline NOVOAIR to offer a 10 percent discount on flight tickets, aiming to make domestic air travel more accessible and affordable. Under the memorandum of understanding (MoU), Nagad users settling ticket payments via Nagad will receive a 10 percent price reduction on base fares across all NOVOAIR destinations.

The formal agreement was recently executed at Nagad's headquarters.  In a press release on Sunday, October 25, Nagad authorities informed that Chief Commercial Officer Mohammad Shaheen Sarwar Bhuiyan and Head of Business Sales Md. Saidur Rahman Dipu represented Nagad, while Director of Marketing and Sales Sohel Majid and Assistant Manager Mazharul Kabir attended on behalf of NOVOAIR.

Under the terms of the agreement, the discount applies to ticket purchases made directly at any official NOVOAIR sales outlet nationwide. The promotional offer will remain valid through December 31, 2026. During this campaign period, individual Nagad account holders can purchase multiple discounted tickets for both themselves and family members.

Highlighting the initiative, Mohammad Shaheen Sarwar Bhuiyan, Chief Commercial Officer of Nagad, stated that simplifying everyday transactions and reducing costs for customers remains Nagad's core mission. Partnering with NOVOAIR enables users to access domestic air travel at lower costs through digital payments.

Sohel Majid, Director of Marketing and Sales at NOVOAIR, stated that the airline remains committed to delivering high standards of passenger service. He noted that the fintech partnership with Nagad adds tangible value for travelers, further encouraging air travel across the country.
