Meta has announced plans to invest USD 600 billion in the United States over the next three years, primarily focusing on infrastructure and employment expansion. The majority of this substantial investment will be directed toward building artificial intelligence (AI) data centers aimed at advancing the company’s long-term AI ambitions. The development was reported by Reuters.

Meta has already begun large-scale investment in the AI sector, with its core objective being the pursuit of “super intelligence” — the stage at which machines can surpass human cognitive capabilities.

In September, Meta Chief Executive Officer Mark Zuckerberg informed U.S. President Donald Trump that the company would invest at least USD 600 billion. He noted, “It is essential to build large-scale capacity now to meet future demands.”

Recently, Meta secured a USD 27 billion financing deal for its largest data center project in Louisiana. Additionally, the company has announced plans to establish another facility in Texas at an investment of USD 1.5 billion.
