Google Photos Grows Smarter with Six New AI-Powered Features
Google has rolled out six new artificial intelligence-powered features for Google Photos, with “Help Me Edit” standing out as one of the most notable additions. The feature allows users to effortlessly edit images — including opening closed eyes in portraits or group shots and even removing sunglasses — according to a report by TechCrunch.
Additionally, a new image editor called “Nano Banana” has been integrated into Google Photos. Using this tool, users can transform their pictures into Renaissance-style paintings or mosaic art forms. Alongside this, a new section titled “Create with AI” is being introduced, enabling users to start editing with templates based on popular requests.
Google further announced that the “Ask Photos” feature is being expanded to over 100 countries and 17 languages. With this function, users can search their photo libraries for specific themes or subjects.
Moreover, a new “Ask” button will allow users to pose questions about their photos or find similar images. For now, this feature is being launched in the United States for both Android and iOS platforms.
