Meta and Oracle Map Massive Multi-Billion Deal

American software giant Oracle is reportedly in discussions with Meta for a cloud computing deal worth nearly $20 billion. According to a source cited by Reuters on Friday, the multi-year agreement could help enhance Meta’s artificial intelligence model training and usage capabilities.
Meta declined to comment on the matter, while Oracle did not respond immediately.
Earlier, the Wall Street Journal reported that OpenAI had signed an almost five-year agreement with Oracle to acquire computing capacity worth approximately $300 billion, marking one of the largest cloud deals in history.
Notably, Oracle is already partnering with Amazon, Google, and Microsoft. These collaborations have resulted in first-quarter cloud revenues increasing more than sixteenfold. The company recently announced four new multi-billion-dollar contracts and expects to add even larger customers in the coming months.
