On Wednesday (May 11), 17 nomination papers were sold for 9 posts in the first day after the candidates of e-commerce traders' organization e-cab halved the nomination fee for the election. There are 6 nominees in the present committee.
According to the e-Cab Election Board, Shomi Kaiser (Dhansiri Digital), Mohammad Sahab Uddin (Diabetic Store), Zia Ashraf (Chaldal), Saeed Rahman (Digital Hub), Wasim Alim (Banglameds), Asif Ahnaf (Breakbyte), Nasima Akhter (Rivery Corporation), Fatima Begum (Adi BD), Marin Hossain Talukder (Silver Water Technology), Md. Tashdikh Habib (Clean Force), Jisan Kingshook Haque (RTS Enterprise), Mozammel Haque Mridha (Kinley.com), Mohammad Ilmul Haque (Services XYZ), AM Ishtiaq Sarwar (Software Innovation), Abu Sufian Nilov (Nizal Creative), Md. Tajul Islam (i Express) and Biplob Ghosh Rahul (e-Courier).

After buying the nomination paper, the candidates publicised the pictures on the Facebook page. They have raised not only singles but also teams. The festive atmosphere has started due to the election of the organization. Voters have been enthralled by the e-Cab gathering of all the candidates together in the debate over the panel-based election from a Facebook post.

Although, there was less than one candidate on the first day of the panel, it is believed that there are independent candidates in the voting battle outside the panel. Because on 18th May, nominations can be collected till 12 noon and be submitted till 2 pm.
Earlier, on May 10 last year, the Election Board meeting approved the final voter list of the 4th bi-annual election 2022 for the term 2022-24 of the E-Commerce Association of Bangladesh (E-CAB). According to the final list of voters published on May 10, the number of voters in this election is 795.
