Walton Reports TK363.34 Crore Profit in Second Quarter

Walton Hi-Tech Industries, a leading electrical and electronics company listed on the stock market in the engineering sector, has reported a post-tax net profit of ৳363.34 crore in the first half (July-December '25) of the financial year 2025-26. This is approximately ৳58.87 crore higher than the same period of the previous year.

This information was revealed in the unaudited financial report for the 2nd quarter of the company, ending on December 31, 2025.

The report was reviewed and approved at the company's 49th Board of Directors meeting on Thursday, January 22nd, and subsequently released.

As per the report, the company's sales increased by 8.48 percent or ৳215.86 crore during July-December '2025 compared to the same period last year. Furthermore, due to the stable foreign exchange rate and prudent raw material procurement, the company's profit increased by ৳58.87 crore to ৳363.34 crore during the period under review, compared to the same period last year.

According to the report, Walton's Earnings Per Share (EPS) for the second quarter (July-December, 2025) has increased to Walton Reports ৳363.34 Crore Profit in Second Quarter10.90, which was Walton Reports ৳363.34 Crore Profit in Second Quarter 9.14 in the same period of the previous financial year. During the same period, the company's Net Asset Value Per Share (NAVPS) stood at ৳257.24 excluding revaluation and ৳358.41 including revaluation.

For the six months ending on December 31, 2025, the company's Net Operating Cash Flow Per Share (NOCFPS) increased to ৳19.41, which was ৳6.30 in the same period of the previous financial year. The significant improvement in operating cash flow is mainly attributed to an 8.07 percent increase in collections from customers compared to the same period last year, along with an 18.97 percent decrease in payments to raw material and other suppliers.

Despite the increase in VAT on refrigerators and air conditioners from 7.5 percent to 15 percent in the financial year 2025-26, the operating cash flow remains strong.
