Students not only be familiar with technology but also be used to it: Education Minister

The Minister of Education Dr. Dipu Moni said that students should not only be familiar with science and technology from the beginning of their education, but should also get used to it. She said, now is the era of science and technology. Now science is involved in every activity of human life. That's why we have to be with science and technology every moment. That is why we have to practice science and technology from childhood. And students should not only be familiar with science and technology from the beginning of their education, but should be made accustomed to it.

While speaking as the Chief Guest after the inauguration of the Bangabandhu Science Fair at the Government Madrasa-e-Alia in the capital on Monday (May 15), she expressed the above mentioned remark.

Education Minister Dipu Moni said that in addition to religious education, madrasa students are not only advancing in science and technology, but are becoming aware of the country, society and environment. Many things are said about our madrasa education. However, the way the students of this madrasa are moving forward, is encouraging. They are studying in various public universities of the country, contributing to various works of the country.

She also said that the Madrasah students are practicing science and awareness, projects on fire fighting, how to develop through the use of robotics, noise and air pollution, modern communication systems, smart city building projects are very creative and effective. We are really happy, proud and overwhelmed to see their dreams come true by implementing these projects.

Deputy Minister of Education Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury was present as a special guest at the fair.  The Director General of Madrasa Education Department Habibur Rahman presided over the fair.

Along with building a developed and smart Bangladesh, Bangabandhu Science Fair was organized with madrasa teachers and students to promote modern science practices and innovative thinking in madrasas.
