e-CAB, BASIS, BACCO, MIA, Bandhur Bandhan stand by the flood victims

The country's ICT sector organizations are working silently to aid the helpless people affected by the floods. e-CAB, BASIS and BACCO and Mirpur ISP Alliance (MIA) have been playing a leading role in the rescue efforts since the beginning.

Among these, MIA has given one month's contribution to the members of the chief adviser's relief fund. It has been informed on behalf of the organization that the members of this organization will also be with the affected businessmen of the affected areas for national needs in the rehabilitation of flood victims. In the first shock of this disaster, no activity of the ISPAB was visible on the Internet, but the organization's general secretary Nazmul Karim Bhuiyan's 'Bandhur Bandhan Bangladesh' was a step ahead. In the beginning, the organization distributed mobile charges, free broadband lines and candles with Feni's generator. Provided food packets for the next 5 days.

And on August 22 and August 23, e-CAB representatives carried out activities in Fulgazi, Parshuram of Feni with 6 speed boats and 3 trawlers on the same night of the beginning of flood. A total of 14,800 relief packets were delivered in six days to Fulgazi, Parshuram, Sonagazi in Feni, Noakhali and Cumilla. Among them, 4,000 packets were given in Noakhali: 7,700 packets in Feni, 2,200 packets in Cumilla, 1,000 packets in Chouddagram.

Also, BASIS has provided food packets and 400 water jars to 1,900 families in the flood-affected areas in the last 72 hours. The aid for the victims was provided by the Anti-Discrimination Relief Programme, the Army, As- Sunnah Foundation and Mastul Foundation.

Similarly, Bangladesh Association of Contact Centers and Outsourcing (BACCO) has provided dry food and essential medicines to the army, air force and relief coordinators of Feni for three days to help flood victims in difficult times in various areas including Feni, Cumilla and Noakhali. BACCO said that with the cooperation of all members, a total of 300 families will stand by the flood victims as necessary relief items such as medicines for first aid, clean water, dry food.
