Technology will unveil corrupt assets: Munir

The main obstacle in the way of development of a nation or society is corruption. However, the Director General of the National Museum of Science and Technology, Mohammad Munir Chowdhury hopes that technologists will be able to overcome this obstacle in a short time. The director general expects that every person will correct himself before that day comes. He expressed such optimism at a training workshop on "Anti-Corruption and Integrity" with the participation of all levels of officials and staff at the National Museum of Science and Technology on Tuesday. Mohammad Munir Chowdhury, Director General of the organization, while presenting the context of various anti-corruption strategies and technological innovations in the national and global context, said, In the near future, information on corrupt assets will be easily uncovered for the benefit of technology. For making any development work sustainable, everyone must be responsible for ensuring its quality, which is a part of 'integrity'. Many irregularities and corruption can be reduced if every official work is brought under regular inspection. After death, everyone should give an account of his life, deeds and legal and illegal assets to Allah Almighty.” Director General of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Novotheater Md. Abdur Razzak spoke as a special speaker on the topic of 'Practicing Integrity in Government Offices'. He emphasizes on living a life based on the Qur'an and Sunnah guided by Allah Almighty in the practice of righteous living.
