SSC and equivalent exams started under strict tech-supervision

Secondary School Certificate-SSC and equivalent exams of this year started from Sunday today under strict surveillance of technology. This exam is started from 10 am in 3 thousand 810 centers all over the country.

CC cameras have been installed to ensure fair environment in the center including preventing question leakage. No one other than the center secretary could use mobile phone or unauthorized electronic device in the examination center. Center Secretary too can only use a normal (feature) phone in the examination center. BTRC has started monitoring Facebook and mobile transactions as well.

Besides, measures have been taken to prevent rumors. ‘Action is being taken against those who are trying to spread rumors”, said the Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni.

After the commencement of the examination, the Education Minister visited the Badda High School center at the capital and in response to a question from the journalists, she said that ‘We have taken all measures to prevent the SSC examination question papers from being leaked. Law and order forces will monitor this all the time. So there is no chance of question leaking in any way’.

The Deputy Education Minister Mahibul Hasan Chowdhury accompanied the minister at that time.

Dhaka Inter Education Board Coordinator and Dhaka Education Board Chairman Professor Tapan Kumar Sarkar said, 'BTRC has already started monitoring Facebook and mobile transactions. In addition, the relevant organizations are also aware of those who create rumors of question leaks through other social media.

Chairman of Dhaka Education Board said, 'It has been decided to quickly close the pages of those creating rumors of question leaks on all social media. For this, BTRC will maintain constant communication with Facebook and other authorities. If the same amount of money is transacted multiple times on a mobile number, then the concerned agent should inform the officer-in-charge of the nearest police station.'
