Guideline Violations:
TikTok Removed Over 15.39 Million Videos in Bangladesh in Q4 2025
In the fourth quarter of 2025, TikTok removed a total of 15,392,129 videos in Bangladesh for violating its Community Guidelines. Among these, 99.9% of the content was proactively identified and removed, and 98.4% of the videos were taken down within 24 hours.
These findings were revealed in TikTok’s Community Guidelines Enforcement Report for the fourth quarter of 2025, which includes data from October to December 2025. The report highlights TikTok’s efforts to quickly detect and remove content that violates its Community Guidelines.
With improvements in TikTok’s artificial intelligence (AI)-driven moderation system, the rate of removing videos before they received any views has decreased compared to previous periods. These AI systems have now become much more effective in identifying and removing older videos as well. At the same time, a strategy has been adopted to reduce the visibility of objectionable or inappropriate comments, resulting in a significant decrease in the number of deleted comments. In the fourth quarter of 2025, a total of 218,793,572 comments were removed globally, down from 459,369,702 in the third quarter of 2025. On the other hand, the removal of fake likes and fake followers has increased. These measures have been taken to maintain platform safety and protect users.
Globally, TikTok removed a total of 175,302,085 videos during the same period, which accounts for approximately 0.5% of all uploaded content on the platform. Of the removed videos, 152,580,933 were identified and taken down using automated technology. After review, 8,360,780 videos were restored on TikTok. During this period, the rate of content removal without any user report was 99.1%, and 93.4% of flagged content was removed within 24 hours. To maintain platform safety and credibility, 147,716,518 fake accounts were removed during this quarter. Additionally, 23,875,879 accounts suspected to belong to users under the age of 13 were also removed.
The report further states that 21.2% of the removed videos contained sensitive or adult content that did not comply with TikTok’s policies. Apart from that, 9.1% of the videos violated platform safety and policy rules, and 1.2% breached privacy and security guidelines. Notably, 1.6% of the removed videos were identified as misinformation, and 1.8% were removed as edited media or AI-generated content.
To provide insight into the types of content and the number of accounts acted against, and to maintain transparency, TikTok regularly publishes its Community Guidelines Enforcement Report.
