The fate of these two ageless non-violent lovely men was also the same. Both of them were killed by the assassin. Whose were together in 1947.
The Bangabandhu-Bapu Digital Museum has been created with these two undisputed ones. The museum has digital presentations depicting various notable periods of the two legendary leaders. Their struggle and conviction led to the liberation of their countries and the exhibition tells the story of their resilience and unflinching spirit.
The digital museum will be opened to the public at the Shilpakala Academy for a month after running for two days at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center. Later it will run for three weeks in each of Chittagong, Khulna, Rajshahi and Sylhet. After all, the digital exhibition will be open to visitors for a month at the UN headquarters in New York.
The exhibition was jointly inaugurated by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center at night on Friday (March 26) night.
The two Prime Ministers were briefed in detail about the exhibition by Birad Yagnig, curator of the Bangabandhu-Bapu Digital Exhibition. Sheikh Rehana, the youngest daughter of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, was also present at this inauguration moment.
Although it was launched in India in January on Vigyan Bhabn in India and today the museum has inaugurated in Bangladesh.
