Digital Media Forum Unveils Dynamic New Committee
A new executive committee has been formed for the Digital Media Forum (DMF), an organization dedicated to advancing digital journalism, enhancing the professional skills of online media practitioners, and safeguarding journalists’ rights. The committee will serve for the next two years, focusing on professional development, skill enhancement, and making the organization more dynamic.
On Wednesday, 21 January, a press release announced that Md. Delwar Hossain, Senior Manager (Digital Business) at Asian Television, has been nominated as president. Ariful Islam, Head of Business Development at NPB News, has been named Senior Vice-President, while Tanzil Rifat, Director of Communication at Tiger Media, will serve as Vice-President.
Dr. Trina Islam, Senior Presenter at Green TV, has been appointed General Secretary, with Fakhrul Islam, Chief Multimedia Reporter, as Senior Joint Secretary, and Mohiuddin Manik, Deputy Manager at Global Television, as Joint Secretary.
