Trump Claims Total Control Over Iranian Airspace Amid Rising Tensions

U.S. President Donald Trump on Tuesday claimed that the United States has achieved “complete and perfect control” over Iranian airspace. The statement came through a post on his social media platform, Truth Social.

In his post, Trump wrote, “We currently have complete and perfect control over Iran’s airspace.” He further stated, “Iran had high-quality air surveillance equipment and other defensive gear. And they had plenty of it. But none of it even comes close to the technology that was made, designed, and constructed by America. Nobody does it like the United States.”

The United States has long been a key supplier of military assistance and equipment to Israel. However, following Israel's recent strikes on Iran last Friday, the U.S. government asserted that it had no involvement in the operation.

Meanwhile, U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance indicated that President Trump “may decide to take further steps to halt Iran’s nuclear program.” In a post on social media platform X, Vance wrote that Iran has enriched uranium “to levels far beyond civilian purposes,” and added that President Trump may “feel the necessity to act further to stop Iran’s enrichment.”

Vance also praised President Trump’s restraint, stating that Iran has violated its nuclear disarmament commitments and has yet to provide any compelling justification for doing so. He emphasized that Trump is solely interested in utilizing American military power “to achieve the goals of the American people,” and that whatever steps Trump may take will align with that overarching objective.
