Obaidul Quader Reportedly Still in Bangladesh, Says Journalist Ilyas Hossain

Former Minister of Road Transport and Bridges and General Secretary of the Awami League, Obaidul Quader, is still in Bangladesh, according to prominent online activist and journalist Ilyas Hossain.
On March 3, from New York, Hossain shared this information through his verified Facebook page. However, no verifiable sources or concrete evidence have been provided to confirm the claim. In his post, he simply wrote, “According to a highly reliable source, Obaidul Quader is still in the country. Reports suggesting he has left or passed away are being deliberately spread.”
The post quickly gained traction and was shared nearly 1,500 times within an hour. Among the top comments, a user named "Toktoki Pakhi" wrote, “If Obaidul Quader is indeed in the country, then law enforcement must be assisting him.”
Another user, Tanzim Shahriar, commented, “I saw Obaidul Quader in Rangpur on January 13. I even posted a video.”
Meanwhile, Delwar Hossain suggested, “Then let’s bring him out and immediately appoint him as the Transport and Road Advisor.”
