Online XI Class Admission Applications Begin Wednesday
• Online applications open Sep 2 and close Sep 10 at 8:00 PM
• 93% seats reserved for open merit; 7% allocated under set quotas
• BDT 220 initial application fee; BDT 340 for selection confirmation
The online application process for XI Class and Alim admissions for the 2026-2027 academic session commences tomorrow, Wednesday (September 2). Eligible students can submit their applications through the central admission portal until 8:00 PM on September 10.
The primary application fee has been fixed at BDT 220, payable via authorized mobile financial services. Professor Syed Akteruzzaman, Chairman of the Dhaka Education Board and Convener of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee, confirmed the finalization of all technical protocols. Under the published admission guidelines, seat allocation will be handled digitally based strictly on SSC and equivalent examination GPA scores, eliminating traditional written entry tests. Applicants can choose a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 10 colleges in their order of preference.
Out of total seat capacity, 93 percent will be distributed under open merit, while the remaining 7 percent is reserved for specific quotas—5 percent for freedom fighters' descendants and 2 percent for education ministry/board staff children. In case of identical GPAs, overall marks and specific subject grades from the SSC exams will act as tie-breakers.
The first selection merit list will be published on September 17 at 8:00 PM. Candidates allocated a seat must pay a primary confirmation fee of BDT 340 between September 17 and September 19 (by 8:00 PM) to lock their seats; failure to confirm will result in cancellation of both selection and application. Final physical admission at respective colleges will take place from September 20 to 22, with nationwide orientation and classes starting on September 23. The education board advised students to exclusively use the official website (xiclassadmission.gov.bd) and avoid unverified third-party portals.
