Amazon, the world’s largest online retail company, has announced the global expansion of its low-cost e-commerce service, “Amazon Bazaar,” to 14 new countries. The move is expected to intensify competition with Chinese rivals Shein and Temu in the global market, according to a report from Reuters.

The company stated that the platform will offer essential household items, clothing, and everyday consumer goods priced between USD 2 and USD 10 in the newly added markets. Among the countries included in the expansion are Hong Kong, the Philippines, Nigeria, and Taiwan.

The U.S. version of this service, known as “Hall,” was launched in 2024, and has since gained significant popularity in Mexico, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.

Amazon noted that all products sold through Amazon Bazaar will be shipped directly from its global warehouses and delivered to consumers through its network of logistics and transportation partners.

Industry analysts observe that this initiative marks an important step in Amazon’s broader international expansion strategy, positioning the company to compete more aggressively in the fast-growing budget e-commerce segment.
