Writing assistant app Grammarly is undergoing a major transformation. Following its acquisition of the email client Superhuman in July, the company has officially rebranded itself under the same name — Superhuman, reports TechCrunch.

However, the Grammarly app will continue to operate under its original name. The company stated that it plans to use the new Superhuman branding for other acquired products, such as Coda, in the future.

Alongside the rebranding, the company has introduced an upgraded AI assistant called Superhuman Go, which functions directly within the Grammarly extension. The new assistant can provide writing suggestions, refine email tone, and even integrate with apps like Jira, Gmail, Google Drive, and Calendar to schedule meetings or log tickets automatically.

Superhuman said that the assistant will continue to evolve — eventually gaining the capability to pull information from CRMs or internal systems to provide automatic, context-based recommendations in emails.

All Grammarly users can now access Superhuman Go. The Pro plan is priced at USD 12 per month (billed annually), while the Business plan costs USD 33 per month, which additionally includes access to Superhuman Mail.

The company, now known as Superhuman, has also announced plans to integrate new AI features into Coda and its email client, enabling automated insertion of supplementary information into documents and email drafts.

With these moves, Superhuman is positioning itself to compete more directly with popular productivity suites like Notion, ClickUp, and Google Workspace.
