ASUS Unveils ROG Strix Scar 18 with RTX 5090 in Bangladesh

Global computing giant ASUS has officially launched the latest model of its premium gaming series, the ROG Strix Scar 18, in Bangladesh. This marks the first time that NVIDIA’s cutting-edge GeForce RTX 5080 and 5090 laptop GPUs have been introduced in the country’s gaming market.
The new gaming laptop is equipped with a tool-less bottom panel, allowing users to upgrade RAM or SSD without the need for a screwdriver. A protective internal shield ensures added safety, making the device user-friendly even for beginners.
Part of the 2025 ROG Strix lineup, the Scar 18 features the latest AI-powered NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5000 series GPU with DLSS 3 graphics, an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor, 64GB DDR5 RAM, and 1TB PCIe Gen4 SSD storage.
To handle heat dissipation, the ROG Strix Scar 18 2025 includes a revamped thermal system featuring tri-fan technology, liquid metal thermal paste, and an innovative airflow design. According to the manufacturer, the full-length exhaust vents and smart air intake allow up to 240 watts of CPU/GPU power draw without excessive heat or noise.
The laptop also boasts an ROG Nebula HDR display powered by mini-LED technology with brightness up to 1200 nits. Its dual-layer ambient contrast ratio (ACR) film reduces glare by 55%, increases contrast by 4.5 times, and provides wide-angle viewing, ensuring sharp visuals from any perspective.
The ROG Strix Scar 18 series starts at BDT 487,990 for the NVIDIA RTX 5080 variant, while the flagship RTX 5090 model is priced at BDT 649,990.
