Global AI device ecosystem institution Honor has launched a new brand shop in Chittagong featuring an attractive display of their own humanoid robot. The operations of this new brand shop have commenced at Akhtaruzzaman Centre in the Agrabad Commercial Area of the city. Flagship smartphones along with budget-friendly smartphones and IoT devices from Honor will be available at this new outlet.
On July 16, a press release from Honor Bangladesh informed that the humanoid robot was one of the prime attractions of the launch. The robot drew everyone's attention by speaking, shaking hands, and taking photos with guests.
Abdullah Al Mamun, Head of Business at Honor Bangladesh, remarked, "Chittagong is an important market for us. Through this new brand shop, customers will access all official Honor devices and services more easily."
Chittagong City Corporation Acting Chief Executive Officer and Secretary Md. Ashraful Amin inaugurated the brand shop on Wednesday, July 15, 2026. Delivering his speech as the chief guest, Md. Ashraful Amin stated, "Any such initiative taken to ensure quality products and easy, reliable service for consumers is positive. I hope this brand shop will play a role in meeting the demands of technology-loving people in Chittagong."
To mark the launch, a special raffle draw and a giveaway with a chance to win the FIFA World Cup 2026 'Trionda' match ball were organized.
