In his address, the Vice-Chancellor stated, “A university is a factory for building human character, where students are shaped into honest, qualified, humane, and skilled individuals. Alongside academic and research excellence, you must develop yourselves as ethically responsible and professionally competent individuals. You will present the distinct identity of this university at national and international platforms. That is our expectation from you.”
Addressing the new students, he added, “The curriculum of this department is highly relevant in the present age and has applications across numerous sectors worldwide. Earning a degree alone is not enough; each of you must strive to become a competent and skilled microbiologist. Choose good friends, as a good friend is equivalent to a good guardian. Determine your goals early and pursue the right path. Only by utilizing your time wisely can you become enlightened individuals and contribute significantly to the development of the country and the nation.”
