Robi and Dhaka Bank Roll Out Rewarding Co-Branded Credit Card

Robi Axiata is set to introduce a co-branded credit card in collaboration with Dhaka Bank to offer enhanced benefits in lifestyle, travel, and financial transactions for its elite customers and employees. A memorandum of understanding was signed at Dhaka Bank’s head office, the companies confirmed in a press release issued by Robi on Wednesday, September 24.

The MoU was signed by Md. Mostaque Ahmed, Deputy Managing Director and Chief Emerging Market Officer of Dhaka Bank, and Manik Lal Das, Director of Customer Value Solutions, Market Operations at Robi Axiata. Also present at the signing ceremony were H. M. Mostafizur Rahman, Senior Executive Vice President and Head of Retail Business Division at Dhaka Bank; Md. Sanjid Hossain, Associate Director (Commercial Partnership) at Robi Axiata; A. S. M. Faisal, General Manager (Loyalty and Partnership); and Tanvir Alam Chowdhury, General Manager (Commercial Partnership), among others.

Robi announced that annual fees for the co-branded credit card would be waived for the first three years for Robi elite customers and employees, along with the option of up to three free supplementary cards. Cardholders will also enjoy a range of premium travel privileges, including complimentary airport pick-up and drop-off services, meet-and-greet assistance, access to eight international lounges through LoungeKey, unlimited entry to the Balaka Lounge, and access to more than 1,600 lounges worldwide.

Additional perks include exclusive hotel offers such as up to three free buffet meals with the purchase of one. Customers will also receive financial protection of up to BDT 4 million through Dhaka Bank’s Quintuple Credit Shield, 0% EMI facilities for up to 24 months, and special lifestyle discounts at over 10,000 partner outlets nationwide.
