Realme’s Radical Reveal: Fan Festival Features 10,000mAh First

The upcoming Realme 828 Fan Festival is scheduled to be held virtually on August 27. During the event, the company will unveil a smartphone powered by a massive 10,000mAh battery.

On Sunday, August 24, the manufacturers announced that this battery will feature a “full-silicon anode technology” which, for the first time in smartphone history, will achieve a rare energy density of “1,200Wh/L (watt-hours per liter).”

Over the past few years, Realme has been demonstrating remarkable innovations in battery technology. In 2024, the company introduced a “320W supersonic charging system” capable of fully charging a 4,420mAh battery in just 4.5 minutes.

Earlier this year, Realme launched the GT 7 as the world’s first smartphone equipped with a “7,000mAh battery paired with 120W fast charging,” combining high-capacity power with ultra-fast charging.

Only three months ago, Realme, already regarded as a specialist in battery innovation, introduced a concept phone with a “10,000mAh battery featuring 887Wh/L energy density.”

This year’s Fan Festival appears poised to further cement Realme’s reputation as a leader in smartphone battery breakthroughs.
