Grameenphone Grants Generous Dividend to Shareholders

Shareholders of Grameenphone Limited, a leading multinational telecommunications company listed on the stock exchanges of Bangladesh, have received a cash dividend of BDT 17 per share. The disbursement was confirmed on Monday (May 19), as the company transferred the declared final dividend directly to shareholders' bank accounts.

The announcement follows a resolution by the Board of Directors of Grameenphone Limited, and the dividend payment has been executed through the Bangladesh Electronic Fund Transfer Network (BEFTN), according to sources from both the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE).

The declared dividend pertains to the audited financial statements for the year ending December 31, 2024. Based on this, shareholders received a 170 percent final cash dividend—amounting to BDT 17 for each BDT 10 share.
