Sony Opens Official Store in Gulshan, Offering Exclusive Discounts
Sony, the globally renowned Japanese brand, has officially inaugurated its new store on the second floor of Habib Super Market in Gulshan. The showroom will be operated by Smart Technologies (BD) Limited (Sony-Smart), the official distributor of Sony in Bangladesh.
The store was inaugurated on Wednesday morning through a ribbon-cutting ceremony jointly conducted by Mohammad Mazharul Islam, Chairman of Smart Technologies (BD) Limited, and Ricky Lucas, Head of Sony International (Pte.) Ltd., Bangladesh Branch.
Also present at the event were Vincent Teh, RMDC Manager of Sony; Valerie Jingyuan Wu, Executive at Sony; Md. Tanvir Hossain, Director of Sony-Smart; Md. Sarwar Jahan Chowdhury, Head of Sales and General Manager; Azad Rahman, Head of Marketing and Deputy General Manager; and Md. Munir Chowdhury, Managing Director of Eco Batteries Limited.
To celebrate the launch of the official store in Gulshan, Sony is offering exclusive discounts on its products. The first 20 customers on a first-come, first-served basis can avail of a 55-inch Sony XR-55A80L OLED TV, originally priced at BDT 346,900, for just BDT 170,000. Additionally, the K-65S30 model TV, priced at BDT 261,900, is available for BDT 150,000, while the 85-inch K85S30 model TV, valued at BDT 605,900, can be purchased for BDT 350,000.
In addition to these offers, the Sony Bravia series of Google TVs, as well as Sharp-branded refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioners, will be available at special prices in celebration of Eid-ul-Fitr. Customers will also have the opportunity to win Smart-branded air conditioners, air coolers, and rechargeable fans with select TV models.
Speaking at the inauguration, Ricky Lucas, Head of Sony International (Pte.)
