Smart Technologies Launches Digital After-Sales Service with Metro DigiBox

Smart Technologies, a leading provider of technology products and services, has integrated digital convenience into its after-sales service. Customers can now repair defective laptops, PCs, or IPS devices while on the go, without visiting service centers, thanks to the company’s collaboration with tech solution provider 1000FiX and its DigiBox service.
Initially, five Metro Rail stations in Dhaka—Motijheel, Shahbagh, Farmgate, Agargaon, and Shewrapara—have been equipped with these smart logistics service kiosks, offering efficient delivery and repair solutions.
The service was inaugurated on Monday at Agargaon Metro Rail Station. Mohammad Zahirul Islam, Managing Director of Smart Technologies Limited, officially launched the initiative by cutting a ribbon. The event was attended by Khandaker Ehteshamul Karim, Company Secretary of Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL), and Rizwanul Haque, Chief Operating Officer of 1000FiX Services.
Also present were DMTCL Manager (P-Way and Civil) Engineer Mahfuzur Rahman, 1000FiX Chief Service Officer Iftekhar Russell, DigiBox Limited Head of Operation S.K. Masudur Rahman, Head of R&D Dr. Kazi Abdul Majid, and Speed Technology Chairman Mosharraf Hossain Suman.
Khandaker Ehteshamul Karim remarked, “This innovative kiosk technology will make customer service simpler and more accessible. It marks a new horizon in customer service for Bangladesh.”
Engineer Mahfuzur Rahman added, “This modern system will provide convenient services for our customers in the metro station environment.”
Mohammad Zahirul Islam stated, “Smart Group is committed to innovation and technology-driven services. The 1000FiX Station is a significant step toward realizing that goal.”
Rizwanul Haque commented, “The 1000FiX Station ensures fast, reliable, and seamless service for our customers. It’s a major stride in enhancing service quality.”
