Leaders and members of the organization paid floral tributes at the mazar of party founder Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia in the capital on Tuesday, 1 September 2026.

They highlighted that throughout protracted political hardships, diploma engineers remained steadfast in democratic movements and civic activism. The leaders pledged that DEAB will continue to safeguard the professional dignity of technical personnel and support engineering modernization.
The leaders further added that the 19-point program introduced by Shaheed Zia remains a structural pillar for national socioeconomic progress. Building on that historical foundation, the diploma engineering community reiterated its dedicated resolve to help execute the 31-point state reform and economic development roadmap.
