Digital Direction Drives Smooth GST Admission Test at JUST

The undergraduate first-year ‘A’ Unit admission test under the cluster (GST) system was held smoothly and peacefully at Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST) for the sixth time, alongside other universities. A total of 7,431 seats were allocated at JUST for the ‘A’ Unit, and more than 85.04 percent of students were reported present at the centre.

Under the GST integrated admission system, the ‘A’ Unit admission test for students from the science background was held on 10 April. On the same day, the Architecture practical (drawing) test was conducted from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

Commenting on the successful completion of the admission test, JUST Treasurer Professor Dr. Hossain Al Mamun said that the GST ‘A’ Unit admission test was conducted in a smooth and peaceful manner at the JUST centre. He expressed sincere thanks to all teachers, officers, and staff of the university for their cooperation in ensuring the smooth conduct of the examination. He also thanked various clubs and organizations for assisting admission seekers.

According to the Coordinator of the JUST centre and Dean of the Faculty of Science, Dr. Md. Korban Ali, digital banners displaying roll numbers, centres, and building directions were installed at different locations across the campus for the convenience of students. Additionally, members of the security sub-committee, BNCC, Rover Scouts, and other volunteers were deployed at the entrances of all buildings to assist candidates.

Earlier, comprehensive preparations were undertaken at JUST to ensure the smooth conduct of the cluster admission test. Adequate law enforcement personnel were deployed to prevent any disorder and maintain a fair examination environment. After the commencement of the test, Treasurer Professor Dr. Hossain Al Mamun visited various examination halls.
