X Experiences Brief Outage as User Reports Spike, Service Restored Quickly
Social media platform X (formerly Twitter) experienced a temporary disruption on Tuesday (31 March). According to data from Downdetector, the outage lasted only a few minutes and the platform has since returned to normal operation, Reuters reports.
According to the website, just before 5:00 pm local time, more than 21,000 users reported experiencing issues. Within two hours, that number dropped to 562.
The data provided by Downdetector is based on user-submitted reports, meaning the actual number of affected users may differ. X authorities did not immediately comment on the incident.
