Walton, Intel Host Tech Gala Night Showcasing Future Innovations
Bangladesh’s leading technology brand Walton Computer celebrated a Tech Gala Night with stakeholders in collaboration with US-based global technology giant Intel at the capital’s Le Méridien Hotel.
The technology showcase, held on Tuesday (December 23), was presided over by SM Manjurul Alam Abhi, Managing Director of Walton Digi-Tech Industries Limited. Senior officials from various government and private sector organisations attended the event.
According to a press release issued on Wednesday (December 24), Intel’s Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Pakistan Country Manager Zia Manzur and Field Application Engineer Boon Hau Poh briefed partners on Intel’s upcoming technologies, processor innovations, and emerging opportunities for enterprise and consumer markets.
The event featured an engaging and informative presentation highlighting Walton’s growing capabilities in Bangladesh’s technology sector, its in-house manufacturing-based innovations, and its development of advanced tech products aligned with market demand. Walton Computer also unveiled its product roadmap for 2026.
One of the key attractions of the Tech Gala Night was a dedicated display centre and experience zone showcasing a wide range of Walton Computer products. Participants had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with Walton’s latest technologies.
Products on display included high-configuration desktops and laptops, with Intel’s 14th-generation high-performance desktop and laptop processors drawing particular attention. The exhibition also featured feature-rich all-in-one PCs, Walton tablets and monitors, mouse and keyboard accessories, CCTV cameras and XVR solutions, e-bikes, and various smart devices. Notably, Walton’s newly introduced nine e-bike models emerged as a major highlight of the showcase.
Senior officials from both government and private institutions closely examined the performance, design, and user-friendly features of the displayed products. They also expressed positive feedback on the practical application potential of Walton’s technologies.
Among the speakers at the event were Major General Md Nasim Parvez, BSP, NDC, AFWC, Commandant of the Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST), and Mujibur Rahman, Managing Director of ICB Islamic Bank, among others.
