Popular Dhallywood actress Jaya Ahsan has won the hearts of audiences with her stellar performances. Beyond acting, she is also active on social media, sharing her thoughts openly with fans and followers. However, some comments in the comment box have deeply affected her, which she revealed candidly during a recent podcast.

On social media bullying, the actress said, “I don’t usually read the comment box on social media. But when I do, it hurts to see those people leaving inappropriate comments on this world. Those who spread negativity for pleasure may one day leave this world, but the words will remain. Their sin will be theirs, nothing will happen to me.”

Jaya shared these pointed and profound observations in the twelfth episode of the podcast ‘Behind the Fame with RRK’ with Rumman Rashid Khan.

The actress, who is equally popular in both Bangladesh and India, emphasized that success comes not only through intellect but through perseverance and determination. Speaking about her journey, the ‘Guerilla’ star said, “One has to keep testing oneself and moving forward. Success doesn’t come only from talent; it requires an indomitable will. In the beginning of my acting career, I didn’t even understand camera angles. It is the proximity to accomplished directors and hard work that has brought me to where I am today.”

Reflecting on her acting career, she added, “For many years, I couldn’t even recognize camera angles. Thanks to the skilled guidance of renowned directors, I have now learned the fundamentals of acting.”

Jaya also expressed her fondness for antiques and history. Her home houses nearly 200-year-old wardrobes, and the bed she was born on is still preserved there, much to the astonishment of visitors. On the topic of the old, she remarked, “I live in the old. Whatever is old is not just the past; for me, it is far more significant. The past always serves as a bridge between the present and the future.”

Her production house, C to Cinema, is currently producing several films that are set to release soon.

The podcast ‘Behind the Fame with RRK’, produced by Z I Faisal, will air on Saturday, 18 October, at 9:00 p.m. on Masranga Television and Radio Dinraat 93.6 FM.
