Google Gears Quick Share for iPhone
Google is working to make its Android Quick Share feature compatible with iPhone. The development was revealed through a teardown of the latest beta version of Google Play Services, confirming a report from nearly a year ago, according to GSM Arena.
Initially launched jointly by Google and Samsung, Quick Share has so far been limited to Android devices. Once the new feature is rolled out, Android users will be able to send files to iPhones. However, it is believed that signing in with a Google account may be required.
Since the feature has been integrated into the beta version of Google Play Services, its official release is expected soon.
