Robi Axiata, the second-largest telecom operator listed on Bangladesh's stock market, has reported a 133 percent year-on-year increase in net profit for the second quarter (April–June) of 2025, compared to the same period last year.
According to the company’s price-sensitive information disclosure published on its website on Monday, July 28, Robi’s earnings per share (EPS) reached Tk 0.49 in Q2 of 2025, up from Tk 0.21 in Q2 of 2024.

Following the earnings disclosure, Robi’s share price on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) rose by 2.61 percent to reach Tk 27.50.
The substantial growth in profit is believed to be driven by Robi’s effective cost control strategies, improved operational efficiency, and increased revenue generation from data services.
