User Teck Unveils UIC: RPA & AI-Driven Automation for RMG
Bangladeshi IT firm User Teck Solutions has launched a web-based software solution called "UIC" to automate administrative and commercial operations in the ready-made garments (RMG) sector. The unveiling took place on Friday, July 18, at a hotel in Rajarbagh, Dhaka.
According to the developers, UIC integrates Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to deliver faster and more accurate results — claiming speeds 10 to 300 times faster than manual operations with 100% accuracy. They also stated that the system has the potential to significantly reduce operational costs while enhancing efficiency.
A visit to the UIC platform reveals that it offers services such as data processing, OEMS, and REX for garment factory automation. It also assists in obtaining approvals from BEPZA, securing incentives from the Chattogram Port Authority, improving quality standards, and aligning with company SOPs through tailored software modules.
At the launch event, User Teck Solutions founder Md. Ahsanul Islam presented the full scope of the automation solution. He was joined by co-founder Rezaur Rahman, Tech adviser Nahid Islam, Manager Tanzil Hossain, AGM Md. Naeem Uddin, Tamjid Alam, and Shajedur Rahman.
It was revealed that Bangladesh’s RMG exports surpassed USD 36 billion in the 2023–24 fiscal year. Of that, approximately USD 1.5 billion was spent on documentation and commercial operations. The new UIC software, developers claim, can reduce those costs by 1% to 3%, potentially saving the industry up to USD 15 million annually. In addition to cost-effectiveness, the solution is designed to reduce employee stress, improve work quality, and ensure timely task completion.
Speaking on the solution, Ahsanul Islam said, "We are working with over 50 buyers. For the past one and a half years, H&M and Bestseller have been using 30 of our software modules in pilot programs. Through our AI and RPA-driven automation, we’ve been able to deliver nearly one crore solutions for their documentation processes."
He further added, "We are the first in Bangladesh to offer both document and web automation. UIC stands for 'U, I, and C' — meaning 'you and I', symbolizing 'our commercial'. While it may seem business-centric, the software also considers the physical and mental well-being of employees working within an organization."
Among the pilot users present at the event were Syed Mohammad Ali Anwar, GM of Epic Group; Md. Nasir Uddin, GM (Logistics) of Saiham Knit Composite Ltd.; Md. Nasim Rana, IT Consultant at Universal Menswear Ltd.; Rakibur Rahman, GM (Commercial) at GMS Composite; Anisuzzaman Sweet, Deputy Manager (Commercial) of Ananta Companies; Md. Shariful Islam, Associate Director (Commercial) at Ananta Companies; Mir Shajib Mahmud, DGM (Commercial) of Apex Spinning & Knitting Mills Ltd.; Md. Abdul Aziz, Assistant Manager at Crystal Martin International Ltd.; Md. Rafiqul Islam, Assistant Manager at SQ Group; and Nazmul Haque, Deputy Manager (Logistics) of Saiham Knit Composite Ltd.
The launch signals a pivotal move toward digital transformation in Bangladesh's garment sector, with UIC offering a scalable and intelligent solution for industry-wide adoption.
