Robi Axiata Receives Credit Rating for Telecom Performance

Telecommunication sector company Robi Axiata Limited, listed on the stock market, has had its credit rating determined by Emerging Credit Rating Limited (ECRL).
According to the information, the company has been assigned a long-term rating of “AA1” and a short-term rating of “ST-1.” This credit rating was based on the audited financial report for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2024, along with other relevant data.
This information was made public on Monday (April 28) through sources at the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE).
In the previous fiscal year, the Credit Rating Agency of Bangladesh Limited (CRAB) had assigned the same credit rating. After analyzing the 2023 fiscal year’s financial report, the operator had announced a 10% cash dividend for investors. Additionally, Robi's profits have more than doubled in 2024 compared to 2023. As of the end of the last year, Robi Axiata's profit surged to nearly 70.2 billion BDT.
