Toronggo Takes Off: Walton Launches New 4G Router Ahead of Bengali New Year

Welcoming the Bengali year 1432, Walton Digi-Tech Industries Limited has unveiled a new device under its Toronggo brand—model WR34G—a high-performance internet sharing router equipped with a rechargeable battery. The launch marks a notable addition to the country's tech market, offering uninterrupted internet connectivity even during power outages.
What sets the WR34G apart is its dual-connectivity feature: it can function both with traditional broadband internet and via a 4G-enabled SIM card, making it especially useful in areas where wired broadband connections are unavailable or unreliable.
According to the product specifications, the router supports 4G LTE connectivity, offering a maximum download speed of 150 Mbps and upload speed of 50 Mbps. Operating on a 2.4 GHz frequency, the device supports wireless transmission speeds of up to 300 Mbps. It features MU-MIMO technology for efficient multi-user connectivity and is equipped with a micro SIM slot, two LAN ports, and a DC input port.
Touhidur Rahman Rad, Chief Business Officer of Walton Computers, emphasized the device’s robust security features. “This router is highly reliable in terms of network security,” he stated. “It supports WPA2-PSK encryption, which helps protect against hacking and unauthorized access. It will serve customers during emergencies or power failures and provide seamless internet connectivity through mobile SIMs in remote areas where wired broadband is not feasible.”
The WR34G router comes with a one-year warranty and is currently available at a special promotional price of BDT 4,095, including a 10% discount.
With this launch, Walton aims to bridge the digital divide by making internet access more resilient and flexible for a broader range of users across Bangladesh.
