Students of Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) have continued their protests, boycotting classes and examinations while locking down administrative and academic buildings. The demonstrators have vowed to sustain their movement until their demands are met.

On Thursday (February 20) at around 11:30 AM, students gathered at Durbar Bangla on campus to stage a protest and hold a “Red Card to Terrorists” demonstration, highlighting their six-point charter of demands.

As part of the protest, students painted graffiti across KUET's signboards, walls, and other campus structures with messages like "Bloodied KUET" in bold red, symbolizing their outrage.

Protesters chanted powerful slogans such as “Education and terrorism cannot coexist,” “Why was my brother attacked? We demand answers from the administration,” “No place for terrorists at KUET,” “While students bleed, the administration looks on,” “The blood of my brother flows, but your end will be bitter,” and “When KUET bleeds, we recall Abrar.” In a symbolic gesture, students covered the eyes of a campus sculpture at Durbar Bangla with black cloth, representing their call for justice.

The students demanded a complete ban on student politics within KUET, calling for the immediate dissolution of all political organizations, including Chhatra Dal and Chhatra Shibir. “We want an end to student politics at KUET. We have rejected the current Vice-Chancellor and Pro Vice-Chancellor. We demand new leadership,” the protesters declared.
