Innovation Inspires: ICT and Innovation Awards 2025 Celebrate Changemakers
With the motto “Recognition to Innovation, Inspiration to Transformation,” the first-ever Bangladesh ICT and Innovation Awards 2025 honored its champions on Saturday, 17 October, at the Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) campus in Dhaka. The evening ceremony saw the presentation of crests, certificates, and prize tokens to the winners. Chief Adviser’s Special Assistant Dr. Anisuzzaman Chowdhury handed over the crests to the champions.
A total of nine initiatives were crowned champions in the inaugural edition. In the student category, the champions were RadSafe by the Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST), Britt.xyz by Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET), Care Wheelchair by Adamjee Cantonment College, and Safe Step by Rajuk Uttara Model College.
In the individual initiative category, Seba’r Janala – ImpactFuse Coalition earned the champion title.
Among institutions, the institutional category champions included the Fast Advanced of Bangladesh (MTBM) Board for Tunnelers, Synesis IT PLC for its E-Return System, RiseUp Labs for Complify, and RoboLife Technologies for its RoboLife Bionic Arm.
According to the organizers, a total of 255 ideas were submitted from across the country. Out of these, 90 ideas were shortlisted initially. The final evaluation rounds were held on 9 October at the American International University–Bangladesh (AIUB) and on 11 October at the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB). Based on those assessments, 32 ideas were selected for recognition. Apart from the champions, others were awarded under Winner and Merit categories.
